E-mail Print PDF

There is no Bet Online scam: the odds for the NCAA hoops season are out as the campaign is getting underway, and here is a look at who you should look at in regards to the Final Four in New Orleans.

North Carolina (+325): It would be a tremendous disappointment if the Tar Heels didn’t win it all as the favorites in your bookie software, as they have all five starters back from an Elite Eight team, and two possible lottery picks (Harrison Barnes, Kendall Marshall).

Kentucky (+425): The Wildcats are right behind the Tar Heels, and the meeting between the two in Lexington on December 3rd is being touted as the game of the season. Kentucky lost five freshmen to the first round of the draft, but Marquis Teague and Anthony Davis will step in alongside Terrence Jones, who decided to come back.

Vanderbilt (+2200): The Commodores offers some value and they’re an experienced squad. This program has been on the ascent with four Tournament appearances in five seasons, and the duo of Jeff Taylor and John Jenkins can score with anyone. The key is center Festus Ezeli, who is suspended for the first six games of the season.

Baylor (+3200): The Bears have a forward duo in Quincy Acy and Perry Jones that rivals anyone in the country, and Jones has lottery-type talent, which we saw glimpses of last season. They missed the Tournament last season, but they’ll get back there in 2012 and you never know, they may pay off for your online wagering odds.
